The Perfect Primer!

Are you heading out tonight? Has dry January dried up and have you given in to the vodka? If so then good on you, I lasted 10 days which I think is an achievement... We deserve a drink!

Anyway... If you are heading out and your out shopping first, be sure to get this primer!!!! 

Apply your moisturiser, then apply this before makeup application! It sits so effortlessly on the skin, smoothing out any fine lines, any visible pores, Mattifying the skin, leaving it soft, clear and Makeup Ready! It is also extremely light, which means that it isn't interfering with the skins natural need to breath! 

I've received several compliments when wearing this primer, about the Matt finish my makeup has on my skin and it's all down to this product! If you want a slight dew to your look then be sure to incorporate a highlighting medium into your foundation!

Miracle BB Cream!!!

I never wear a lot of makeup unless I'm going on a night out, and even then I still don't wear huge amounts! I also find that with working outdoors, my skin feels the affects of all weather conditions, which isn't ideal if the result of the harsh weather conditions is a nasty rash :(

BB Cream is a lovely alternative to foundation, its light, hydrating and provides you with enough coverage, although I haven't found one that I completely loved until now…

I got sent this item from a company called Janiro, alongside another of their products which is also amazing, which is a 'marvel gel'. The range is called Ginvera Green tea, there are a few products within the range, which I am desperate to try!

The BB Cream suits all skin tones, it sits on the skin so effortlessly, and provides ultimate coverage! It hydrates the skin, and gives you a youthful glow. Its light yet provides the coverage of a foundation…what I'm trying to say is it could easily replace your existing foundation!

The fact it contains green tea says it all, its GOOD for your skin! Now there is one teeny downside, it is slightly expensive, but a little does go an extremely long way! 

The cost of the BB Cream is £18.00 but I would rather spend that bit more, and be happy with the results, than spend say £7 on one that I would use a couple of times, decide isn't for me, and then it would remain almost full at the bottom of my makeup kit! GREATTTT Also as i said before, this product is good enough to replace your foundation, which I pay 20 something pounds for…Im considering making the change to this product, as it benefits your skin not only on how it looks externally but also how it is maintained and looked after internally!!

I'd recommend giving these products a go, they truly are amazing! I will be purchasing mine next pay day :)

Regenerating and Firming Oil...tackle Skin Imperfections!

Do you have any scars? stretch marks, marked skin that you'd like to fix???

This product was sent to me, and I knew instantly what I wanted to try it on…two years ago, I had a mole removed on my arm, and it left me with a scar that I dislike…I've tried certain products already but none have worked quite like this one…

I applied this oil twice a day after showering, and the difference is extremely noticeable, my scar is now less visible and the appearance of the skin is a lot smoother.

No more Shaving, Waxing…The easy way to be hair free!!!

I visited the Clothes Show at the Birmingham NEC this December, and it was Incredible! The end of the day soon arrived, and my purse was almost empty! We were leaving and this woman grabbed us…'You will never go back to shaving, waxing again' intrigued we allowed her to speak to us….

What we saw/experienced was UNREAL…this small depilation contraption left us feeling silky smooth…and it would work on all hair types on any area of the body! So we purchased headed home and couldn't wait to try it out!

Honestly this is probably one of the most useful, best things I've ever purchased! All it requires is clockwise, anticlockwise movements on the designated area that you want to leave feeling smooth, repeating the motion until you are happy with the softness of the skin, it is pain free, no cuts, nothing! Its amazing! Legs, Underarms, Arms, Bikini Area…it gets rid of ALL hair…and it last for upto 4 weeks! The depilation not only removes unwanted hair it also exfoliates the skin, win win!

The pack you receive contains 5 replacement pads, we were told that each pad, would do the entire body five times before it needed changing, and for £20 at present, its definitely worth investing!

The only downside is its slightly time consuming, but if your only having to do it once every 4 weeks, then sit down one evening and treat yourself to a bath, and a depilation :)

Decembers glossy box was one of the best I have received to date, it contained some great products!!!

An amazing lip balm that I now can't live without, a shadow that I wish I'd had when I did the Gold Flake look (I'm going to recreate soon) A razor…always useful, a lovely pink nail varnish, and an incredible exfoliant/polish!

Starting with the top left! When I first opened my box I thought this product was a lip gloss…Now unless I have my hair up I am not a fan of glosses, as my hair being long has a tendency to stick to the gloss (pet hate) But when I tried it out it in fact was a soft, neutral balm, that provided me with a lovely brown tint to my lips, the product also hydrated the lips keeping them feeling smooth. This has been one of my best friends over the Christmas Period…Its been in every bag I've taken out with me! Its a must have now on the website it does say its a gloss! But it isn't sticky like a normal gloss which is why I find it comes more into the lip balm category!

Now with nail varnishes I'm a shellac kind of girl…I get my nails done every three weeks, so this means polish doesn't find its way into my cosmetic regime! These products always get passed onto my sister to use, and she loved this polish! Its a great pastel pink colour, that will be great in the summer! This brand 'Seche' also boasts to be strong, resisting chipping and flaking! Their range is vast, and I'm sure in and amongst it you can find a colour to suit you!

Now this Gold Cream shadow by maybelline, would have been PERFECT when I did my Avant Garde Gold Flake look…I have said that I want to recreate the look i did, and have it professionally photographed, so we shall see, I will be using it when I get my Avant Garde on again :)
I have decanted some of this product onto my hand, and it does seem to be a great product, build able and workable, staying put until I washed my hands, and it did take a bit of a scrub to remove the product, showing it has good staying power! I will be intrigued to see if they have other colours within their range, as they would make a fab base, applying your shadow onto of the cream shadow, allowing the powder to adhere to the cream based product! :)

ANDDD they do have further colours! Woo will be investing in some of those!

Now this razor I have already tried, tested, and re- bought! Its so handy that you don't need to use shaving foam/soap as the soap is already incorporated into the Razor! It enables quick, and safe shaving to be carried out! The only downside to this razor is its size…it is quite bulky but it does incorporate your soap as well meaning you gain space back by not having to carry your shaving foam/soap around also :)

Although I am going to be blogging about a product that I bought from the clothes show at the beginning of december that alllll you ladies/men need to purchase!

And Finally the Spa Sanctuary Polish… Now I don't know about you guys…but I sometimes get small open pores that can prove deadly and annoying when I fake tan (not often) but the tan will sit in the pores…only noticeable to yourself and those who end up being extremely close to you! But still its not ideal! This product stops that…the product information reads this 'Many women suffer from micro-bumps or a ‘chicken skin’ texture – especially on the backs of arms & thighs. Back to the Keyboard….

After a rather long break (apologies) I am officially back in front of the keyboard, with lots of product reviews, tips, and general information to bring to you all!!

First of all I'd like to wish you all a Happy New Year, I hope it was a fabulous one, and heres to 2014!

I am so excited about 2014, and the endless opportunities that it may bring! A few of which are already in the pipelines, which will be bringing great things I'm hoping :)

Having a couple of weeks off has meant that my bedroom is now full of new items, that need to be spoken about, bragged about and brought to you guys, so that you can follow suit and purchase them, as they are truly must haves!!!

Moisturisers, cleansers, mascaras, lip balms, etc etc I will be reviewing today, but I will stagger them over the next couple of days so you all get chance to read them, and you aren't overwhelmed with blogs and reading! :)

I feel very positive about this upcoming year, and after having received a lovely email this morning from a fellow makeup artist about the inspiration I provide her with, its given me more of a reason to push and strive for my dreams this year! :) 2014 bring it on!!!
