Decembers GlossyBox..x

Decembers glossy box was one of the best I have received to date, it contained some great products!!!

An amazing lip balm that I now can't live without, a shadow that I wish I'd had when I did the Gold Flake look (I'm going to recreate soon) A razor…always useful, a lovely pink nail varnish, and an incredible exfoliant/polish!

Starting with the top left! When I first opened my box I thought this product was a lip gloss…Now unless I have my hair up I am not a fan of glosses, as my hair being long has a tendency to stick to the gloss (pet hate) But when I tried it out it in fact was a soft, neutral balm, that provided me with a lovely brown tint to my lips, the product also hydrated the lips keeping them feeling smooth. This has been one of my best friends over the Christmas Period…Its been in every bag I've taken out with me! Its a must have now on the website it does say its a gloss! But it isn't sticky like a normal gloss which is why I find it comes more into the lip balm category!

It can be found here
http://www.beautifulmovementscosmetics.com/internal/product_info.cfm?Nude
Check it out! :) xx

Now with nail varnishes I'm a shellac kind of girl…I get my nails done every three weeks, so this means polish doesn't find its way into my cosmetic regime! These products always get passed onto my sister to use, and she loved this polish! Its a great pastel pink colour, that will be great in the summer! This brand 'Seche' also boasts to be strong, resisting chipping and flaking! Their range is vast, and I'm sure in and amongst it you can find a colour to suit you!

Now this Gold Cream shadow by maybelline, would have been PERFECT when I did my Avant Garde Gold Flake look…I have said that I want to recreate the look i did, and have it professionally photographed, so we shall see, I will be using it when I get my Avant Garde on again :)
I have decanted some of this product onto my hand, and it does seem to be a great product, build able and workable, staying put until I washed my hands, and it did take a bit of a scrub to remove the product, showing it has good staying power! I will be intrigued to see if they have other colours within their range, as they would make a fab base, applying your shadow onto of the cream shadow, allowing the powder to adhere to the cream based product! :)

ANDDD they do have further colours! Woo will be investing in some of those!

Now this razor I have already tried, tested, and re- bought! Its so handy that you don't need to use shaving foam/soap as the soap is already incorporated into the Razor! It enables quick, and safe shaving to be carried out! The only downside to this razor is its size…it is quite bulky but it does incorporate your soap as well meaning you gain space back by not having to carry your shaving foam/soap around also :)
This item can be purchased from any supermarket/boots/superdrug! :)
Although I am going to be blogging about a product that I bought from the clothes show at the beginning of december that alllll you ladies/men need to purchase!

http://www.boots.com/en/Wilkinson-Sword-Intuition-Naturals-Sensitive-Care-Razor_1249947/

And Finally the Spa Sanctuary Polish… Now I don't know about you guys…but I sometimes get small open pores that can prove deadly and annoying when I fake tan (not often) but the tan will sit in the pores…only noticeable to yourself and those who end up being extremely close to you! But still its not ideal! This product stops that…the product information reads this 'Many women suffer from micro-bumps or a ‘chicken skin’ texture – especially on the backs of arms & thighs. This Resurface & Refine Ultra Polish uses particles up to 5 times smaller than a normal scrub, this is what makes it so effective at exfoliating & leaving skin feeling smoother & with a radiant glow.
89% of women saw a reduction in their micro-bumps & chicken skin**tested on 110 women in an independent 4 week User Trial'

Now it is quite expensive but its worth a try if you suffer from some of the symptoms mentioned above! It can be purchased from boots for £12 :)

GlossyBox November!!xx

This months GlossyBox was full of absolutely great products!!!

The only one I haven't really got on with is the Nail Polish Remover Pads from Elegant Touch and that is simply because I'm a Gel Nails kinda girl!!! Although I did get my sister to try it out...so a review was still possible!!

Enjoy the read...

Yves Rocher France - Hand Cream

So the first product I'm going to look at is theee Yves Rocher hand cream..
Now I don't usually use hand cream as I don't particularly suffer with dry skin, or at least I didn't think I did, I have been using this hand cream everyday for the past 2 weeks sometimes twice a day and hellloooo baby soft skin! Apparently my hands weren't as soft as I thought prior to application of this wonder cream, but now they really are, and can I just touch on the smell...Its divine, I had to pull myself away from licking my hands several times, as with its cocoa and raspberry scent, I smelt very edible! I can 100% recommend this product especially over the coming months. I also made my Dad give it a try, as he is a builder and complains about having dry hands allll the time (YAWN) but he even said had it not been for its ever so feminine smell, he would use it more often, as it definitely improved the texture of his skin!

The full size tube is £1.75 and you can buy it from yves-rocher.co.uk

If you suffer with dry hands, and you love the smell of chocolate go buy yours today! :) Edible and soft, great combination!!

Elegant Touch - Nail Polish Remover Pads

The next product inside this months box, was Nail polish remover pads by Elegant touch
These are great for on the go ladies, pop them in your bag, if your on the train or in a Cafe or staying over somewhere for the weekend/night, and your painting your nails, this handy compact tub will prove extremely useful.
Now as mentioned earlier I am a Shellac fanatic, purely because I used to nibble on my nails and I've found this is the only method that stops me! But I did get my sister to use them and she said that 'they do what they are supposed to do' - helpful! But I'm guessing what she meant was, they bring off the unwanted varnish, which is what we are trying to achieve. These pads contain extra vitamins and moisturisers to ensure your nails and cuticles feel super nourished! For those of you painting your nails often I suggest you get yourselves some of these...especially if you are also ladies of leisure and are off gallivanting to different places finding yourself in needs of polish remover.

These can be bought from some of our popular local beauty supplier shops, New Look, SuperDrug and Boots, for just £2

Vichy - Idealia Life Serum

The next product i'm going to review for you is by Vichy and its their Idealia Life Serum, the only negative thing I have to say about this is...there was not enough of it! The texture of my skin after using this serum was like silk! It was lovely! I also gave one to my mum to try and she had no doubts in agreeing with me, when I say that this really is a fab product! It instantly transformed the look of my skin, making it look hydrated, fresh and supple! It also smelt so yummy almost perfumed! The only downside was that the bottles really were too teeny, but if you were wanting to splash out on this product, which I may do every now and then as it is quite expensive... £29.50 for 30ml then you can buy it from Boots :)

Connock London - Kukui Eau de Parfum

Now last month we had Katy Perry's perfume in the box, and that was surprisingly nice, this months perfume was so so so good! I have never heard of the brand, Connock, and I hope not many other people have either, as I definitely feel it may be my new scent! *Don't like smelling the same as everyone else* :) This really was a lovely surprise, it has a 'sultry woody base' with romantic top notes of gardenia, Jasmine and Calla Lily. Calla Lily my favourite flower...No wonder it smelt so good, and I love it as much as I do....Its quite a strong scent, but one that will leave an impression on anyone that smells it!

To get yours visit Connock London and purchase the full size bottle of 100ml for £75, you wont regret it!

Emite Make Up - Micronized Eyeshadow - Dams

The final product in this months Glossybox, was one that I will get endless use from, and it is the favourite of the products so far for me...Its a MATTE Black eyeshadow by a company called Emite Makeup, never had I heard of it, but it has to be the best black eyeshadow I have ever used. I've used MAC, Bobbi Brown, Urban Decay, Benefit etc etc and this is by far the best, the pigment is so deep and rich, its not a wishy washy black, its jet black! Its a dream!!! It truly is a must have shadow, and what makes it even better, its blendable! It also lasts for hoursssss...Get yours here today! for £16.80 Emite Makeup I Can't wait to try more from their range :)

This Glossybox was a treat to rummage through and review for you guys! I am so excited about the next one, I have extremely high hopes!! I recommend GlossyBox to any beauty Lover Get yours today!

I hope you have enjoyed this read...any questions/comments/feedback it is all welcome!

Thank youuu

October's Glossybox!x

I have recently subscribed to Glossybox, I thought this was the perfect opportunity to add more items to my kit (obsession) and to explore the beauty world in greater depths. It also gives me the opportunity to be a 'beauty blogger' bringing my wisdom of makeup, hair and beauty products to my readers :)

Every box I recieve I will be doing a montlhy blog on, which will include my personal review on each item within the box, recommending where I feel appt! I hope you enjoy the read and maybe find yourselves purchasing some of the items I recommend :)

Items within this months GlossyBox...

This product wasn't suited to my skin, I have normal skin, and this specifies that it is for combination skin, at the time of use aswell I had quite dry skin as I had just got back from holiday!...holiday blues :( Having said this, once I applied quite alot my skin did feel extremely smooth, and it was great under my makeup! Although it is quite expensive to be using excessive amounts to achieve what you can with a normal moisturiser. It smelt lovely, very fresh, it smelt good for your skin! I think if I had oily combination skin it would be a good purchase, but i think for the time being I will be sticking with my Garnier Rose Essentials <3

This product was a lot more suited to my skin, it was a creamy product that went onto the skin nicely, and sat very naturally under my makeup! It was light but did the job, although with it containing SPF I wouldn't recommend especially if you were intending on having photographs taken, as the SPF contains light reflective minerals that will make you look paler than you are! Not ideal...But for during the day its a perfect product! It gives a nice, dewy glow and youthful appearance. I wouldn't hesitate recommending!

I have never been a fan of the cheek/lip tint. You instantly loose that ability to blend the products, which ultimately gives you that flawless look! Once applied to the skin you dont have much working time, to move the product around if any at all, as it stains the skin you put it on! I know this is given away in the name of it 'tint' but Im not sure its a beneficial trait for a makeup product to have, when the idea of makeup is to look seamless on a persons face. I wouldnt completely rule it out, as you could attempt mixing the tint with one of your cream based products, either a lipstick, or a blusher to intensify the colour, as the pigmentation of this product is second to none. Mixing with your lipstick or cream blusher will add depth to your chosen medium, but for now I feel this product won't be making its way into my kit :( Sorryyyy MeMeMe

For me, now that my tan has faded and I have regained my 'English rose' complexion, this just didn't suit my skin type! For those of you with the desired olive complexion I'm sure this would make a fine addition to your makeup kit! It felt extremely smooth when testing it on my hand, providing a light/medium coverage, I think it would be perfect applied over your daily/night time foundation!

This was a pleasant surprise, as I expected it to be another one of these scents released by popstars to rob small children blind of their pocket money! But this is actually quite a nice scent, I wouldnt choose to wear it myself, but I think for teenagers making that transition from the lower end of the teens, say 13 ish to the mid teen stage of about 16 then this is a definite one to try and maybe pop on your christmas list :) I hope this has been insightful, and let me tell you I cannot wait for my next glossy box arrival, in the mean time keep if you have a blog topic you would like me to cover, feel free to get in touch or leave your comment below!!

Lots of Love
